You’re a mom. You know all moms work hard. You’re also always behind the camera, most moms are behind the camera. 📷

Like myself, a mom of 2 girls, I’m behind the camera most of the time for my family and for my clients.

This Mother’s Day, take a picture of your mom if you’re fortunate enough to have her close by. My mom isn’t local so I probably won’t get to take a picture of her, although I’m sure my kids will hear this message and take a picture of me!

Moms are pretty much the backbone of our families. They make sure everyone has what they need, and they do it with love. 💕

That’s why I wanted to remind you to give a shout out to your mom this Mother’s Day and take a moment to appreciate her and everything she does for you. And what better way to do that than by taking a photograph of her.

Don’t forget to just have fun with this. This isn’t about getting the perfect shot, it’s about capturing the love and appreciation you have for your mom, and it happens to be on Mother’s Day.

You can take candid shots of your mom laughing, smiling and just being herself. These are often the photographs that are cherished most.

And when she says no, don’t take a picture of me, I don’t want a picture taken of me, I want you to take that picture anyway. She’ll eventually appreciate that picture.

Here’s the thing though, please don’t post it on social media unless she gives you permission. Because that would pretty much ruin everything about this. Ha!

So go ahead and grab your phone, and take a picture of your amazing mom. She deserves it!
