I’m Deanna Taylor, a boutique portrait photographer, and the owner of Deanna Taylor Photography in Northern Virginia.

As someone who has taken over 200,000 photographs and worked with many families, and whose work has been published and recognized in the community, I understand the power of photography to capture a moment in time.

My husband and I experienced a tragic loss of our three babies in 2007. The nurses in the hospital took photographs of them, and part of my healing was creating a photo album that included those photos, and it was in that moment when I realized the true power of photography to capture a moment in time.

Now, I’m so passionate about helping you capture this time with your teen. When we work together we’ll pick out the best outfits and the best location for you and your teen, and I promise we will get them to laugh and have fun so we capture their true essence.

We’ll also work together to create heirloom pieces (like keepsake boxes, wall art, and heirloom albums) of your portraits so you can feel joy seeing them in your home after you child leaves your house.
